It is his first release under his imprint, Chequemate Records and sees Cheque riding the Bad Boy persona and theme. Meddling in Afrobeats, the "Bad Boy" instrumental aligns more with a ghetto-hop and street highlife genre.
Produced by Niphkeys and himself, the almost slient adlibs in the background of the chorus add a lullaby for attentive listeners.
