Mavin signee, CupidSZN releases his latest single 'Super' months after his debut EP MYTH-ERA. 'Super' sees CupidSZN trying to carve his style in the music industry. He seems to settle into the contemporary Afrobeats songwriting style as it was predominantly seen on his debut EP, MYTH-ERA.

Another fast-tempo instrumental produced by the legendary producer Don Jazzy leans heavily on dancehall percussions. The electric guitar with accompanying synthesizers add electrifying flavour to the track as it interweaves through. The track has backup tones mixed with Don Jazzy vocals on it. They complement CupidSZN's falsetto as they illuminate the track. The tenor-like undertone evokes emotional indulgence throughout the two-minute runtime.
The typical contemporary Afrobeats lyrics are just as the writing of his previous tracks has mostly been. He lays the theme on physical attraction and admiration while he sings in a fast-paced rhythm in the verses. He contrasts this pace in the chorus. While using his vocal dexterity slightly, he explores erotic lyrics. He sings in the chorus: Look am, ah. See the way I dey look am, ah. Your ikebe na super. Gimme chance make I chook am.
While it could pass for a slow-dance vibe at conjugal ceremonies, CupidSZN has no distinctive vocal texture yet. No pronounced persona in his songwriting even. He not just dabbles in art again on 'Super', but for a Mavin signee, his sound is mostly generic for the record label he represents. This set him behind the curve in the Afrobeats culture among his colleagues.
