Cover Art

Just twenty days after the release of Akonuche, fast-rising act, Odugbose Caleb Olusegun (Priesst) teams up with Anthony Ebuka Victor (Victony) and Shodade Oluwasegun Solomon (Shoday) to deliver the remix of Priesst's hit single "Akonuche". "Akonuche" has been the stepping stone for Priesst as it has garnered millions of streams across all music platforms. In an era of numbers and charts, strategic collaborations will do better for aspiring artistes. Priesst did not let it slip for a second as he hopped on the wave to reach a wider audience.

Priesst

The mellow Afrobeats instrumental was produced by Okwuenu Chukwudumebi Emmanuel popularly called Dummex. This remix has a better production as the piano became audible and energetic. The enhanced synthesizers and slight breathers illuminate the track.

Victony

Victony, who has been an emerging voice since this decade despite his health challenge, highlighted his recovery in his verse as he sings in the lyric: Say, I got my aura back o ... Thank God for the stamina. His mild dulcet vocals shine through his lyrics.

Shoday

Shoday breaks the flow with his rhythm and almost loses grip, but towards the end of his verse blends with the original song rhythm. He explored the focus and hustle theme.

Priesst's vocals remained unaltered in the 176 seconds runtime and the track resonates with Nigerians globally. Of course, Priesst is the embodiment of consistent hard work, diligence, hope, and underground success. Although this remix is significant for his career, he could have done it with bigger shots in the industry to rake those numbers in.
