" Nnamochie " is an Igbo word that literally means "my grandfather". In this piece, he takes listeners on a journey through history, touching on the slave trade, colonialism, and the emergence of religion. He uses this song to appeal to every Black person to learn about their history. The soft tempo rap beat produced by Odg Beatz complements the poetic lyrics, which commemorate the transatlantic slavery era. Cedozy's cadence and tone convey a deeper message of pain.
