 "I wouldn’t do what I’ve always done in previous years" , I promised. I'll spend a smidgen time with my family this winter holiday and I’ll no longer be complacent with my hobbies. I’d learn how to be complaisant with my family. I mean, what’s the essence of life if we don’t spend quality time with our families? I saw this coming. | Bien X Phyno Remix Artwork| Bien , a well-known artiste in East Africa especially in Kenya dropped a remix of his 2025 single: All My Enemies Are Suffering featuring Phyno Fino from Nigeria . Produced by Remy Baggins , the song is no doubt a Nigerian Ghetto Gospel subgenre under the Afrosounds genre .  Bien specifically made this track not only for Africans in Africa but for Africans across the globe and the host of others who identify with the Afrobeats culture and movement . He knows we are a religious people and this will suit our soul. A piece well-crafted from him and his team from the type of beat, flow, and the choice of the featured artiste. |cover art| Bien , one of the fourth defunct Sauti Sol singers shows his musical skill as he remains hell-bent on showing his versatility through music. The Kenyan man has not stopped giving us melodies since 2003 till date. With this single released in 2025, he has conquered East Africa with his sound and is in the airport to take West Africa by flight.  ' All My Enemies Are Suffering ' a typical mantra for Pastors in West Africa space chanting with their voices echoing out from a large auditorium, or in a small room filled with their followers responding in belief. Review: Elinocks and Don the Painter Navigate Relationship Downsides in "Cage".

Elinocks , an underground Zambian act, teams up with South African up-and-coming rapper, Don the Painter to release a new song titled — " Cage ". Produced by Sound Engine  also known as ' SE ', "Cage" is a fusion of Afrosounds with hip-hop. Elinocks explores the theme of the downside of relationships. She immerses herself in her emotions on this piece, getting overwhelmed; as Don the Painter bringing balance with his storytelling skill. His cadence and delivery brighten the atmosphere. "Cage" is let down by the choice of a clear soothing beat as it affects the mastering of the entire cut. A more polished mix would have made the message and emotion to resonate more with listeners. Review: Superboy Cheque – "Bad Boy"

Nigerian trapper and songwriter, Superboy Cheque released a new single  titled— " Bad Boy ". It is his first release under his imprint, Chequemate Records and sees Cheque riding the Bad Boy persona and theme. Meddling in Afrobeats , the "Bad Boy" instrumental aligns more with a ghetto-hop and street highlife genre. Bad Boy Cover Art Produced by Niphkeys and himself, the almost slient adlibs in the background of the chorus add a lullaby for attentive listeners.  While the Mmm ra bum bum chorus might not resonate with everyone, Cheque's unique voice elevates the mood throughout the entire piece.
