Legendary singer, Innocent 'Tuface' Idibia don drop new single he called 'Salary 4 Life'. As e drop, and as I reach Audiomack, I see the title, I dey think say na another MTN endorsement or promo, because 'Salary 4 Life 75' just come back to haunt MTN users and subscribers for this 2025. E be like say the man wey sing the classic "African Queen" still dey eye those brand deals, but dis time, e wrap am inside hustle anthem for him country people.

Nothing wey you wan tell me — this T-pain economy reach everybody side for we country, both rich and poor. Because, tell me wetin go make 2Face dey sing about 'g-four' with sweeteners as the game plan to survive the present inflation? E be like say coast no too clear for him side sef. But him no tell us how to get the "Salary 4 Life" o. Because why I go dey work everyday to get salary everyday of my life? So, e mean say na endless hustle?

"Ekwe" dey like refrain for the song cos Tubaba make us remember mid 2000s — 'Sample Ekwe' crooner our Original Stereoman Ekwe' for this jam as him dey call "Ekwe" on repeat. The backup singer try, you no see how the adlibs enter? For one place the trumpet make the song dey sound like jingle or ads song. E be like say this track na one of Tubaba old tracks wey him no drop because say the instrumental too dey noisy. Omo, and na Kaka Igbokwe and Kingsley Chidiebere produce the tune. E dey give vibe of Afrobeats in the 2010s or even before but e get element of Amapiano wey elevate the tune to 2020 vibe wey we gats dance to. Fans dey vex say e too short because na almost 3 minutes clip.

Person talk say the only time to get salary for life na when you invest wisely in assets and not liabilities. Well, most Nigerians no get financial knowledge and e even show for Tubaba lyrics for inside the song. From another angle, e be like him sing gam for him Nigerian audience majorly because nothing dey sweet us pass salary. We dey very happy to hear about salary, no matter how small the Naira. 

Na why him use am as appeal — smart move from him and his team. So, sense dey am too from this angle. But, if Tubaba wan join him wife for politics full time, make him yarn us straight. Or abi him think say old school idea go make sales? I no go lie, "Salary 4 Life" na track wey capture the struggle we dey face inside life, but e need more polish for the mixing to shine proper, joor.

I saw this coming. | Bien X Phyno Remix Artwork| Bien , a well-known artiste in East Africa especially in Kenya dropped a remix of his 2025 single: All My Enemies Are Suffering featuring Phyno Fino from Nigeria .
