Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni releases a new single 'Zion' featuring Olamide. 'Zion' is not only a rare song title in the contemporary industry, but the entire piece embodies a soulful element which is different from the recent, regular Afrobeats records.

A lead single from her forthcoming EP, 'The Wellness Package' sees the Sugar Mummy Records Boss and YBNL Nation Boss develop an artistic chemistry in the record. The music video seals this, with veteran actor Nkem Owoh — popularly called Osuofia gave it cinematic breath with his appearance. Teni delivers her verse in a soulful yet childlike tone, while Olamide rap-sings his verse with tongue-twisters that add flavour. This screams nostalgia for childhood in every sense.

Produced by DeeYasso, 'Zion' sits in a mid-tempo instrumental range, engulfed in an Asian-inspired guitar and a consistent, soothing whistle which serves as refrain. 

Olamide delivers his rap smoothly on these elements as his lyrics build on reassurance while Teni rolls her lonely boat in the streams of yearning for her partner. Their verses complement each other as they resonate deeply with lovers and couples.

The personification of 'Zion' on Teni's chorus paired with Olamide's poetic hook, elevates the record. Their vocals carry an energetic warmth.
