Phyno Closes The Year with Gratitude on 'Ask of Me Now'

Phyno ends the year with the release of "Ask of Me Now".

Prominent Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter Phyno drops a new single titled "Ask of Me Now". This track complements his previous single, "This Moment" with his signee Superboy Cheque.

The bridge and hook interplay smoothly, blending seamlessly with the chorus. This makes it resonate with listeners as subtle undertones add flavour to the cut.
In the chorus, Phyno leads with a choir of backup singers, creating a vibe in what resembles a magical live performance. The backup singers' echoes make it energetic.

Here, Phyno uses gratitude as his theme, highlighting a story from lack to grace. He believes that keeping a clean heart during hard times is the reason for his blessings.


The highlife genre track was co-produced by DrJayswaarg (also known as Jswarg) and Soularge. Soularge handled the guitar work, while DrJayswaarg played the drums. These elements complemented each other in a slow-tempo groove. 

Although the piece suffers from a very melancholic hook, it shines as the essence of the composition with Phyno's low, tenor-like range.

"Ask of Me Now" is a soulful masterpiece closing a chaotic yet blissful year.

I saw this coming. | Bien X Phyno Remix Artwork| Bien , a well-known artiste in East Africa especially in Kenya dropped a remix of his 2025 single: All My Enemies Are Suffering featuring Phyno Fino from Nigeria .
