Review: Superboy Cheque – "Bad Boy"

Nigerian trapper and songwriter, Superboy Cheque released a new single titled— "Bad Boy". It is his first release under his imprint, Chequemate Records and sees Cheque riding the Bad Boy persona and theme. Meddling in Afrobeats, the "Bad Boy" instrumental aligns more with a ghetto-hop and street highlife genre.
Produced by Niphkeys and himself, the almost slient adlibs in the background of the chorus add a lullaby for attentive listeners. 
While the Mmm ra bum bum chorus might not resonate with everyone, Cheque's unique voice elevates the mood throughout the entire piece.
"Bad Boy" was initially a freestyle Cheque recorded to test his listeners' reactions.
